Facebook have relented and allowed my 'commercial' page to be reinstated despite their accusations of security issues. I had thought it was nine months of hardwork down the drain but it continues. Interestingly although the figures dropped to zero within a few days they have returned to their previous high. Over 3,250,000 are being reached. The highest number of people hitting the page over a week is 450,000; that number is multiplied when people 'share' or comment and posts become virally spread around the web.

For the Wiccan, trees are a source of power because they are rooted in the Mother Earth and they reach to the heavens. This is the essential posture we humans seek in trying to reach a state of balance during meditation.

Bet you thought that I would have had a response from Facebook....... well I did, they sent me the same forms that I had last week, filled in and sent back. As someone pointed out to me the other night, definitely not part of the Constitution... they have me guilty with no trial, sentenced to be executed and no way of defending myself. Never mind, they probably don't give a shit! So, on with today, sun shining here in Shropshire, England which is somewhat of a novelty this year.
I have nearly finshed a second manuscript. I'm fed up with rejection slips from publishers and so I am publishing both books. The first - a thought for every hour of every day of every week of every month for a year, over 8,700 quotes and phrases which I have called 'Things I Will Teach My Grandchildren should be available in early August'. A second book of similar sought will be released at the end of the Autumn only the quotes contain magick, Wicca and spiritual subjects. My latest novel ' The Temporal Stone' will be available by the beginning of September. 'The Temporal Stone' is a Wizards and Magick tale travelling from a time unknown to the present day and is the first of a trilogy. Probably going to release it on Amazon Kindle. Watch this space!

So, still nothing from Facebook. Just think that they don't like me. Maybe they are members of the 'God Squad'. So think that the photograph situation has been sorted and will be posting here most days.

Well, still no response from Facebook, for which I am disappointed in the extreme. Should the Wicca Radio page become re-instated I will give serious thought to how the page should be developed in the future. It is, as someone pointed out to me, almost like a witch hunt - you are guilty until you prove yourself innocent and there is no way to do that if the accusers are not listening and do not want to know. Shame on you Facebook.
It is a glorious Sunday morning here in Shropshire - a refreshing change from the dark grey rainy days of recent months. The countryside comes alive, the birds sing and flowers that have been reluctant to open their blooms are now reviewing the situation. Everywhere is thick mud and streams that pour into the River Severn are still flowing in torrents. I hope you have a good day.

Well, no response from Facebook. What a strange policy to have - we do not speak to our users or respond to them. I have appealed to them twice a day. If I could do what they want me to I would have done it but their system will not let me so I am left in limbo. Never mind, it is how it is. Maybe it's not meant to be. I will keep trying.

Hello you! Well Facebook have removed my pages due to 'security issues'. No discussion with me and nine months of work gone down the drain. I am disappointed with them but hey, it's free what can you expect. So if and when they resolve the issues I might be back, but not sure I want to take that risk again. There were over 200,000 people following the page on a weekly basis and the page was reaching over 3,250,000. Not sure I can contact most of them. Maybe they will find me again. So, being extremely pissed off with FB, I thought that I would do my posts on 'blog' and not be censored as FB kept doing for me. I'm really sorry that I lost so many nice people and had not realised what a big part of my day FB had become; replying to questions, queries and generally conversing with people around the world. Anyway, if they re-instate me once they realise I am not a terrorist or if they don't, I'll be posting here most days. xXx

It seems that this year so far I have lost my way in this blog and its entries. My work shedule has been difficult and exacting, demanding from me much more than I had intended when I started projects at the end of last year. I have now more or less finished off all the outstanding manuscripts, articles and projects that were outstanding and hopefully now claim a little bit of the day back to my stuff. There is an element today of last day of term, maybe last day of school, and I can plan the next few years over these coming weeks. I know, I know, we create plans and God laughs. But let see how it goes. lots to tell you.... piles of photographs.... one or two funnies, music...... questions of life and my ramblings from the last few months. Thank you to people who have contacted me over the last few months, by now you should have had some response from me. Okay so just before I sign off here's a few of today's photographs.

Thanks for all the messages (again) Despite good intentions to the opposite, the last six weeks have been extremely busy and my blog has come way down on the list of urgent jobs to be done. Although having been tied up with radio and writing there has also been some discussions over 'One Last adventure' (see elsewhere on the homepage). Arrival of some more chickens, a garden that grows weeds quicker than I can pull them out, several articles for various magazines, a demanding dog and the need to have the odd few days off (away from the computer) seems to suck up all the available time. My facebook page (Gordon Thomas Drury) has suffered as well but has had more attention than the blog. Hopefully...... back in the blogosphere very soon. xXx
